Playing for his school’s team as a top guard left, Trevor Lacey confirmed his commitment to his team during a press conference last Wednesday, May 2011. According to some rumors that were spreading an hour prior to the official announcement by the young and talented player, he was going to sign up with Crimson Tide. Later on, he announced his contract signing with the University of Alabama, proudly wearing an Alabama hat as he was publicizing it. In his past career in the sport, Lacey played for the Alabama SR Butler as a shooting guard. The six-foot three guard led his high school team into winning three consecutive matches during the state championships. He got an average of 31.4 points and 8 rebounds for his team in the previous season, which may be put up in at 40 points minimum on 10 individual games.
